Tom has asked us to help him out with a banner for his Sailor Site.
I am posting the banner he is using now, you must use these colors.

Here is the info Tom has given

the theme is merchant navy, flag and background colour makes up the british merchant flag so they need to be used. in any case the merchant flag needs to be used.
the integration of Australian and new Zealand flags too will be acceptable too

P.S I do not have any size spefs but I am sure if it is too large, Tom can resize to his liking

I received an email from the folks and was given the copyright they want and permission to use their image. It really is a nice one, and after I make a banner, if you like the image Tom, I will post it for others to give a go with. However, I'm busy tonight and will not be home tomorrow or Thursday so it will be Friday before I can work on this.

Wow Vikki, you did good, that is a wonderful picture, I am sure Tom will love it.

I know this is really plain, but I don't have much time to do anything with more detail. I won't be hurt at all if it's not used. But, it is yours to do as you wish with.

I checked what your file name needs to be on the logo, but if you need to have a different file name let me know. I used the size that you have as you logo right now which is larger than the one that is posted in this thread. So, if you need a different size let me know.

Right click and save to your computer. You might think about putting a couple spaces at the top of the banner so it's not flush against the top... it would look a lot nicer.

that looks good on AreoRed kathy, thanks here is a one that i sued for AeroBlue, thanks to the idea of Chakoteh but i think that the text could do with being sharper. now i can do another for a green style with Chakote's ship:

here are some I played with today, Tom. If there are "some" things you like, some you don't, would rather have this here, that over there... give me some feedback and I will change some up. You know, if ya don't like the font, tell me, too dark, tell me & I will change it. Would like to come up with something useful, but need your feedback

Sissy those are great....but, you will need to change the Sailor's to Sailors without the ' I know mine is like that, but I changed it when Tom let me know that it should be without the apostrophe.

I will change all of them to Sailors Home without the apostrophe. Sorry about that Tom. I shoulda known better than to follow Sissy's lead and why you not give some feedback? oh well, I will just make little changes that I noticed after posting that I didn't like :)

i have to say in all honesty, you girls are good at what you do

ok Tom, changed all the banners to not have an apostrophe in the name and put a small border around one to show you what that looks like.
